We are now just two weeks away from the biggest day of the year in the Bicester RUFC Mini Section calendar. This season’s Bicester Mini Rugby Festival will be taking place on Sunday 30th April 2017 at Bicester Sports Association, Chesterton, Bicester, OX26 1TH.
This is a non-streamed event for mixed ability teams in line and will be played in accordance with RFU Regulation 15: Age Grade Rugby. As defined in Regulation 15, this festival provides a round-robin playing opportunity where equal team and player participation is the emphasis. Scores may be recorded but will not be used to determine finishing positions and winning doesn’t affect your on-going participation as every team plays the same appropriate number of matches.

Gates open at 08:30. Visitor parking is located 100 meters past the main entrance, only coaches and club officials will be allowed to park at the main site (Parking permits attached).

Please follow the directions given to you by the traffic marshals on the day as they will be aiming to minimize your queuing time. Parking (including your festival programme) is only £5 per car so having that crisp fiver ready to pay will be a great help. As I’m sure you will appreciate, there will be a lot of traffic entering the site in the morning and leaving at the end of the day.

Team registration will take place at the respective age group control tent from 08:30 and there will be a referees/coaches briefing at the age group control tent at 09:45, On arrival can coaches please report to your age control tent to collect your documentation for the event.
